athens-citypass.com is a comparison site for the sightseeing passes sold for Athens. The city has no municipal pass of its own; every pass comes from a commercial provider. Turbopass issues two of them, the Athens City Pass, bought for a run of consecutive days, and the Athens Flex Pass, a chosen number of attractions. Public transport is not part of the City Pass as standard: it is an add-on chosen at booking, and it does not cover the airport run.

What settles the question in Athens is how much of your time belongs to antiquity. The Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum and the hop-on hop-off bus carry most of what a pass is worth here; a day trip to Delphi or out to the Saronic islands, an evening in Psyrri or a morning at the Central Market carry none of it. We put the included sites, the durations and the transport add-on side by side, check them against the provider pages, and say where a ticket bought at the gate does the job just as well.

We are not a general Athens travel guide and not a hotel portal, and we deliberately leave out hotel booking and single tickets without a pass connection. We do not sell the passes ourselves: bookings for the Athens City Pass are completed with our partner Turbopass, and their current prices, availability and terms apply.
